KFUO-AM officially went on the air December 14, 1924. The first broadcast originated from the attic of the old Concordia Seminary building on South Jefferson in St. Louis, Missouri. KFUO moved to its current location on May 29, 1927. Tuesday, May 29, 2012, marked KFUO Radio's 85th Anniversary of broadcasting from the now-historic building at 85 Founders Lane in Clayton, MO, making the main studio (Studio A) the longest continually operating broadcast studio in the world. KFUO is the oldest Christian broadcast radio station still on the air with the same owners (Lutheran Church Missouri Synod).
